Ask any Stony Brook student, and they’ll say there hasn’t been a day when some part of campus or another was under construction. This summer seemed to underscore that point as buildings went up and came down in the center of campus while three other sites, trees and all, were cleared for future projects.
Meanwhile, the Union Commons was given expanded hours, the SAC cafeteria was expanded physically, and the H-Quad cafeteria was permanently closed down.
