Stony Brook University has selected Dr. Samuel L. Stanley Jr., currently the Vice Chancellor of Research at Washington University in St. Louis, as the successor to President Shirley Strum Kenny, according to presidential search committee chairman Richard Nasti and SUNY public relations official David Henahan.
The search is over. Dr. Samuel L. Stanley has been appointed to be Stony Brook University’s next president, according a press release from Richard Nasti, chair of the Presidential Search Committee.
