Aziz Ansari has quite a few fans at Stony Brook, judging by how fast he sold out the 1,050 seat Staller Center. Tickets for his free Tuesday performance sold out in just two days. 400 seats were filled on Sunday, and the remaining 550 tickets disappeared lightning-fast today, the first day of the Spring semester. “We got rid of them in about an hour and a half,” said Liz Frisenda, the box office manager in the Student Activities Center. Students who hoped to get a guaranteed seat are now out of luck, but a standby list has been created for those die-hards who couldn’t score a ticket.
