USG Updates: “Paying for Proxies”-Maybe the VP of Student Life, Programming and Activities should be mentored by Dr. Baigent, since Dr. Baigent seems to have no problem multitasking.Consider all the hats he wears, VP Student Affairs, Assoc. Provost for Enrollment and Retention Management, Campus Designee and he is also on FSA’s Board of Directors.
Under these titles Dr. Baigent oversees, the Career Center,Student Health Services, Disability Support Services, the Wo/mens Center, Administration of campus residences, disability support services, the University Counseling Center, the Dean of Students, he also covers areas such as , Academic Advising, EOP/AIM, Undergraduate Scholarships, HSC Student Services, Financial Aid and the Admission and Transfer office.
I’ve heard of more bang for your buck, but how efficient is someone who is a jack of all trades?
Maybe if Dr. Baigent’s jobs were easier, he too could “attend to the students needs much easier”.
Stop whining and do your job,one that has been done single handedly in the past. I’m sure your Administrative Director will give you all the help you need. Maybe if the Administrative Director did a better job at informing the students of their elected responsibilities and if she put her own agenda’s to the side; impeachments would be a thing of the past.
It could be worse, you could someday be in Dr. Baigent’s shoes! The upside is skating through it and the paycheck at the end of the week.
PS. Its nice to see that someone is actually reading the USG Constitution
